Libby Vieira da Cunha
Curator of Education
Libby Vieira da Cunha is Philadelphia Contemporary's Curator of Education. A Brazilian-American artist, educator, and arts administrator with over 10 years experience in arts education program development with a focus on holistic youth mentorship and community building through the creative process. Before joining PC, she oversaw the education programs at Grounds For Sculpture in New Jersey, Park Avenue Armory in New York City and at The Music Box Village and the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans. In addition to her leadership roles she has served as an advisor for multiple Joan Mitchell Foundation education initiatives. Vieira da Cunha holds a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an M.S.Ed. in Leadership in Museum Education from the Bank Street College of Education.
